Amazon Teacher Wishlist Pinterest pin naturalblackvegan.com

I’m so happy to announce that this August, I will be in my first classroom! If you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel, you know I took an alternative pathway to become a teacher, but, I am finally certified and will have my own 4th grade math class! Aside from making my classroom resources, I’ve been setting up my Amazon teacher wishlist to share with my family and friends. After watching several Tik Tok videos and reading all the blog posts, here are all the items on my Amazon Teacher Wishlist as a first-year teacher!

Classroom Supplies

Pre-Sharpened Pencils

pre-sharpened pencils

This is a no-brainer! What classroom doesn’t constantly need pencils? I know my students will most likely bring some, but better safe than sorry!

Sharpie Flip Chart Markers

Even though I will commission my creative sister to make my anchor charts, she’ll still need some markers to do so, and these Sharpies are vibrant and don’t bleed through anchor chart paper. Gotta have them!

Bulk Crayons, Colored Pencils, and Markers

I LOVE to color, and so do my students! We need coloring supplies for SEL, morning meeting, brain breaks, and more, and since I know all of my students won’t have their own, this bulk pack is a necessity! Even though these aren’t Crayola, they’re pretty affordable and have great reviews.

Chalk Markers

chalk markers

I’m a “Type B” teacher, but I HATE the way name tags look on desks when they’re peeling off and gross! So, it’s easier to just use chalk markers to write students’ names on the desks. (I learned this hack from the veteran teacher I worked with as a para)

Zipper Mesh Pouches

These pouches made it on my Amazon teacher wishlist for headphone storage. They’re the perfect size and have great reviews. Thanks Tik Tok for the recommendation!

Crayola Dry-Erase Markers

According to social media, these Crayola dry-erase markers are the GOAT! I’m pretty sure they’re on every teacher’s Amazon wishlist!

Permanent Markers

Permanent markers are needed for so many things in the classroom, so I found this affordable pack with 30 different colors!

Paper Mate Flair Pens

If you know, you know! I love the Paper Mate Flair pens for my planning and calendar! They don’t smudge, and the colors are so beautiful! An essential for both teachers and non-teachers!

Anchor Chart Paper

My school provides a limited amount of anchor chart paper, so I just decided to get my own. I love academic, culture, and SEL anchor charts, so this paper will definitely be used!

Bulk Pencil Pouches

From my years as a para, I’ve learned that pencil pouches disappear just as quickly as pencils do! So, I decided to just get a full class set now to avoid the hassle later!

Erasable Pens

Tik Tok made me add this to the list this morning! Meetings and trainings get moved around, so erasable pens are perfect for my desk calendar!

Electric Pencil Sharpener

This is another Tik Tok inspired purchase! According to you guys, this is the best pencil sharpener out there! So you know it’s added to the Amazon teacher wishlist!

Laminating Pouches

I couldn’t survive without my laminator, and even this summer, it’s been heavily in use already! I create all of my classroom resources and bulletin boards to be re-used, so I’ll definitely NEED more laminating pouches!

Organization

Desk Organizer

This year, my commitment to organization is top tier! So, I added this cute, pink desk organizer to my wishlist! Let’s see how long I use it for!

Pocket Chart

The pocket chart system is perfect for turning in and distributing homework and giving my students a place to keep their folders. Again, staying organized is the goal!

3-Tier Bookcase

My new classroom is pretty small, so I need compact storage solutions. This bookcase is small, affordable, and easy to assemble, so it’s on the list!

10-Drawer Storage Cart

Like I said, storage and organization are big goals of mine, so I have to have a cart like this one! And, it matches my boho rainbow color scheme perfectly!

Classroom Decor

Bulletin Board Borders (1, 2, 3)

If I’m going to spend over 40 hours a week in a space, I need it to be just as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional, so when it comes to decor, I will go all out! These boho colored borders are perfect for the two walls of white boards in my classroom, and they’re so cute!

Better than Paper (1, 2, 3)

The girls that get it, get it. Better than Paper is top tier for bulletin boards, and it lasts for YEARS! I picked out a few cute colors/patterns, and I know these will look amazing!

Classroom Rewards System

This doesn’t really fall under decor, but we’ll add it here because it’s so adorable! I want to use this apple jar as a whole-class rewards system! We’ll add to the jar when the class has perfect attendance, shoutouts from other teachers, good reports from specials, and things like that. This way, they can visualize how close they are to earning class parties!

Bean Bag Chair

Even though a bean bag chair needs no explanation, I added it to my Amazon teacher wishlist to put in the calm corner. Nuff said!

Magnetic Calendar Rod

Since wall space is limited in my room, I opted to do a flip calendar! I’ve been seeing them all over Tik Tok, and they’re functional and space-saving. To hang my calendar on the board, I’ll attach it to this rod that sticks to the white board! So cool!

Velcro Dots and Double Sided Tape

We need a way to hang all the cute decor, so I’ve opted for velcro dots and double sided tape! And this tape is the best! You will struggle taking things down at the end of the year if you use it, so only use it for things you will not be changing out throughout the year.

Games and Fidgets

Note: I already have a bunch of games and fidgets from SHEIN and Target, so these are just the ones on the Amazon wishlist!

Magnetic Tiles

Magnetic tiles are so cool, and they’re the perfect tool for indoor recess! My kids love them, and so do I!

Fidget Pack

I love fidgets as learning tools, prizes, and calm corner tools, so I always have to have some on hand! They also make the perfect little birthday gifts for students!

Math Games (1, 2, 3)

In planning ahead, I’ve been trying to come up with early finisher activities, and these math games and flash cards are perfect!

Legos

Last year when I was a 3rd grade para, my kids were OBSESSED with Legos! This pack on Amazon is super affordable and has all the basics they will love!

Puzzles (1, 2)

Puzzles are great tools for easy mornings or indoor recess, and they encourage critical thinking and team building. There are so many on Amazon, but these are the two I picked out.

Technology

Moon Lamp

I’ve already thrifted some soft light options for my classroom, but this moon lamp is too cute and cozy to pass up! I think it creates the perfect cozy classroom vibes!

LED Color Changing Light

To go along with the cozy vibe, this cute little lamp is perfect, and I think it would look amazing in a calm corner! The kids can change the color to fit their mood, or it can be an incentive to choose the colors for the week. I know they will love it!

Mini Fridge

Maybe it’s the 90’s kid in me, but I’ve always wanted a mini fridge! This cute little pink one is perfect for keeping all my Olipop chilled and ready to drink!

Wireless Presenter

This isn’t a necessity, but it is really cool and useful. I’d use this remote for morning meeting and SEL slides throughout the day. It’s perfect for walking around the room while teaching.

Remote Control Power Strip

I’m pretty sure my classroom has about 3 outlets, so a power strip is definitely needed! But with all my lamps, a remote control power strip is perfect for turning them all on/off at the beginning/end of the day! Another cool tool I saw on Tik Tok!

These are all the things I wanted to share will you from my Amazon teacher wishlist! I’ve gotten so many other things from thrift stores, Target, SHEIN, and Home Goods, so make sure you subscribe to the YouTube channel and watch the vlogs so you don’t miss any cool purchases! And there is definitely classroom decorating content coming in August! See ya then!
