Happy New Year!
I really can’t believe another year is coming to a close! For me, the end of the year comes with a lot of reflecting, journaling, and intention setting. I look back over the goals I set for the previous year and my vision board, and I use those to set new goals and intentions for the next year. This year I thought, “what if I had the perfect journal prompts to bring in the new year with?” And that’s how I came up with the January 31-Day Journal Challenge! I thought about what prompts would help me and researched for an entire afternoon to find these specific prompts that I thought would be the most intentional for new year goal-setting and self-discovery.
How does this challenge work?
I designed this challenge to make journaling and self-reflection a daily habit, but feel free to use these prompts however you want! You can do seven on Sunday each week, or follow along with me and do one each day. (Follow me on IG to see each prompt daily: @angellijim) Maybe you’re not one for journaling, so you talk each answer out to yourself. Whatever works for you, do it! But, I really do want to challenge you to write and reflect every day this month! Once it becomes a habit, I promise you will see so many benefits of journaling. And make sure you check out my other journaling prompts, how to make a vision board, and tips to have an intentional year. But for now, let’s dive into these 31 journal prompts for goal-setting and self-discovery.
