This cake may have a strange name, but it is moist, chocolate-y, and delicious! The ingredients are so basic, you probably have all of them in your pantry right now! I included this cake in the vegan Fall/Winter desserts because I make it every Christmas. It’s so easy to make, and everyone loves chocolate cake, so it’s perfect for family dinners! And no one would even know that it doesn’t have milk, butter, or eggs! I LOVE this cake recipe, and it is now the only chocolate cake recipe I use! 10/10! (Tip: the recipe recommends adding coffee to make the chocolate flavor stand out, and it definitely works)

7. Apple Pie

Good old fashioned apple pie in vegan form! This is literally the best apple pie ever, with an easy flaky crust and a amazing filling of tart apples enrobed in cinnamon and sweetness!

I definitely can’t have Thanksgiving without Apple Pie! And honestly, it took me a while to find a good vegan apple pie recipe, but this one is it! All of the ingredients are simple and easy to find, and it has the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. This particular recipe includes ingredients for making crust, but I usually buy pre-made crust (I know, I’m that lazy), so I can’t comment on whether or not the crust is good. But, the filling is delicious, so that’s why this recipe is one of my favorite vegan Fall/Winter desserts!

8. Candy Cane Brownies

I promise this is the last chocolate recipe! But I just love the combination of chocolate and peppermint! These brownies are moist, but the edges are still firm, which means they are perfect! I definitely recommend these brownies, and maybe you can switch it up and leave these for Santa (with a glass of almond milk of course)!

9. Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies

I made these cookies for the first time last Fall, and they were so delicious! If you’re not a fan of pumpkin, you will still enjoy these (as I learned from my sister who is not a fan of pumpkin). These cookies have the perfect amount of sweetness, but they also pack a little bit of that Fall spice we all love. They are a great Fall treat for the whole family.

10. Sweet Potato Pie

Sweet potato pie is pumpkin pie’s better tasting cousin! If you’ve never tried it before, what are you waiting for? It’s sweet, creamy, and has holiday spice. As it is an African tradition started by slaves, it is a staple at all of my family’s Thanksgivings, and it has been my favorite Fall dessert for as long as I can remember. I did not find a recipe online for this one, so I am sharing my family’s recipe with you today. If you make it, please leave a comment telling me how you liked it!

Vegan Sweet Potato Pie Recipe (Double to make 2 pies):

  • 1 (29 oz.) can Sweet Potatoes, drained
  • 1 9″ pie shell, unbaked

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbs. corn starch
  • 4 tbs. Earth Balance vegan butter, melted
