All over YouTube and social media, I see the popular “no makeup” makeup look, and I do it almost daily when I want to look extra cute, but I don’t want to put on a full face. In this blog post, I share with you my favorite products for my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine.

Sunscreen

After washing and moisturizing my face, I always go in with sunscreen, and my favorite sunscreen is “Black Girl Sunscreen“. It is vegan and Black woman-owned, but it is on the pricier side for a sunscreen. However, it is definitely worth the price! It is moisturizing, dewy, and sheer–it’s the perfect sunscreen for Black skin and the perfect base for my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine.

Brows

Next, I do my brows with the e.l.f. Instant Brow Lift Pencil. This brow pencil is the only one I have ever used; it’s that amazing! I just fill in my already thick, wispy brows in order to look uniformed. And the best part about this pencil is: It only costs $2! This brow pencil is a staple in my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine. Buy it, and thank me later.

Concealer

The most important part of my “no makeup” makeup routine is the concealer. And for this step, I use the Too Faced Born this Way Concealer. This concealer is on the pricier side, too, but I always stock up on it when I can find it at TJ Maxx. I conceal around my brows, mouth, under eyes, and any blemishes. Honestly, it’s the part of my routine that makes me look awake. This concealer is creamy, easy to blend, and it doesn’t dry out my skin. Not only that, but it is vegan and comes in many shades. Unless a WAY better product comes out, this will forever be my go-to concealer for my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine!

Setting Powder

After blending the concealer, I set it with the Revolution Beauty Loose Baking Powder. This powder is certified vegan, and it comes in 10 different shades! It is perfect for making sure my concealer stays in place all day! Even when I forget to take off my makeup before working out (oops!), this powder holds it all in place. Oh! And the best part is, it’s under $10 and often on sale at Ulta. Laura Mercier who?

Bronzer

In my opinion, Wet ‘n Wild is one of the best drugstore makeup brands of all time, and that’s why I use their Color Icon bronzer. It’s a must-have in my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine. After setting, I use it to bronze up under my cheekbones, under my chin, around my forehead, and in the crease of my eye. It is the part of my routine that makes me look put together. And like most Wet ‘n Wild products, it is less than $10, and it comes in a few shades. I love this bronzer!

Blush

I’m not gonna lie–my favorite blush for my vegan “no makeup” makeup look has now been discontinued, but I’ll give you another suggestion. ColourPop’s super shock blushes are amazing, and of course, they are vegan and cruelty-free. I use blush to make me look perky and lively, and I apply it to my cheeks and nose. ColourPop’s blushes come in A LOT of colors for every skin tone, and they are creamy, pigmented, and only $8! Loving this for us, girl!

Highlighter

I don’t always highlight. I only do it when I want to feel extra sparkly. But, my favorite highlight is the ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter! It has all the same qualities of the blush, and it’s the same price. I only apply it to the tip of my nose and my cupid’s bow, but it just adds the perfect “umph” to my face.

Setting Spray

Before I do my lips, I set my face with the NYX Maekup Setting Spray in Dewy. This is the ONLY setting spray I have EVER used! It’s that amazing. It makes my makeup last, it helps everything look like skin, and it gives me the dewy skin look that I love. And for less than $10, it’s the perfect topper for my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine.

Lips

Lastly, it is time for lips. Every day, I use the same lip liner and gloss combo, and it is the perfect nude for my skin. First, I use the ColourPop Lippie Pencil in BFF 4 to line my lips. Then, I fill in my lips with the NYX Butter Gloss in either Praline or Gingersnap (but all of the shades are fire!). The pencil is only $7, and there are many, many shades, and the gloss is $5, and there is a huge shade range. I literally buy both of these products in bulk, so they are ESSENTIAL to my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine.

Brushes

I almost forgot to mention what brushes I use! My two favorite brands for affordable, vegan brushes are Wet ‘n Wild and Shop Miss A. They are soft, easy to clean, and durable. The ones pictured below are the ones I use every day, and the entire set and case are only $10. Trust me, you need these!

*Note: I wear glasses every day, so I don’t usually do liner or mascara, but NYX, Too Faced, and ColourPop have amazing vegan options!

That’s it! That is my vegan “no makeup” makeup routine. What are your favorite products? Do you have any to recommend? Make sure to comment and share this post if you enjoyed it!
